Step outside the classroom and into the workplace through the Connect Glynn Educator Externship Academy. This unique professional learning experience pairs educators with local businesses and industries, providing valuable real-world insights that enrich classroom instruction while strengthening school-to-career partnerships across Glynn County.�

Up to 30 educators will be selected for the 2026 academy. Applications are due September 11, 2026, and space is limited.�

We are now seeking volunteers for the 2026–2027 Business Buddies Program in partnership with Glynn County School.

Each week, Business Buddies spend just 30 minutes reading with a first grade student, helping build confidence, strengthen reading skills, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Each year, the Chamber provides books to 100 students who are most at risk of reading below grade level, and our goal is to pair as many of those students as possible with caring volunteers from our business community.

The program kicks off on September 24, and we`d love to have you join us in making a difference.
