Leadership Glynn Program

Leadership Glynn is an immersive 8-month leadership development program designed to equip, empower, and connect both emerging and established leaders throughout Glynn County. Hosted by the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, the program graduates approximately 35 participants each year and is recognized as one of the community’s premier leadership initiatives.

The purpose of Leadership Glynn is to cultivate informed, engaged leaders who are prepared to make a meaningful impact on the future of Brunswick and Glynn County. Through direct exposure to local industries, government, education, healthcare, public safety, economic development, and community organizations, participants gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges shaping our region. The program encourages participants to channel their experiences, ideas, and leadership abilities toward strengthening the community and improving quality of life throughout Glynn County.

The program runs annually from October through May and consists of approximately eight (8) informative, interactive, and hands-on sessions. Each session is designed to develop leadership skills, foster professional and personal growth, encourage civic engagement, and provide valuable networking opportunities with community leaders and fellow participants. Leadership Glynn also emphasizes collaboration, communication, and relationship-building among individuals from diverse professional backgrounds.

Leadership Glynn has a long-standing history of success, with many graduates continuing to serve the community in leadership roles through local boards, nonprofits, businesses, government agencies, and civic organizations. Alumni of the program remain actively connected through the Leadership Glynn Alumni network and continue to contribute to the advancement of the Golden Isles community.
